Welcome to the online headquarters for

The Gospel Conversations Campaign

at Gateway Church

September 9 - October 6, 2017

Below you will find the information you need to get the maximum benefit from this important four-week series. In addition to the four sermons that will anchor the campaign, you can expect to hear great testimonies and presentations in the weekend worship services. We encourage you to follow along with the daily Bible reading plan as well as memorize some Bible verses. Towards the end of the campaign we'll enjoy a special Day 1 capped off with a Worship night. And lastly, participating in a Grow Group will be the key to bringing all of these elements together for maximum impact. Don't miss out on any of the elements of Gospel Conversations!

You'll find lots of details below, or pick up a Campaign Brochure in the Welcome Center. You can also download it here.

The Sermon Series

Ideally, you won't have to miss a single message. But if you do have to be out of town there are two ways you will be able to keep up.

Podcasts

We have a new sermon podcast on iTunes that will deliver all four messages to your device. You can locate it and subscribe here.

Sermons Media Play

Or, use the media player here to view the sermons in video format.

Gospel Conversation Prayer & Worship

The final week of the series kicks off with two special events on Sunday, October 1. Make plans to participate in a very special Day 1 throughout that day.

Then, join us at 6:00 in the evening for an encouraging worship night filled with music, prayer, testimony and celebration.

Grow Groups

As the summer winds down and this series kicks off it is important to get back to regular participation in your Grow Group. Group activities and discussions during the month will help you get the most out of the series. If you don’t have a group, now is the time to join one. Check in at the Grow Group Family Room for more information after any worship service.

Weekly Memory Verses

There is one primary and one bonus scripture memory assignment for each week of the series. Can you master all eight in four weeks? (printed memory card packets are also available in the Welcome Center)

WEEK ONE

Memory Verse of the Week: Romans 3:23-24
...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

Bonus Verse: I Peter 2:24

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (NIV)

WEEK TWO

Memory Verse of the Week: Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. (ESV)

Bonus Verse: John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (ESV)

WEEK THREE

Memory Verse of the Week: Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—not the result of works, so that no one may boast. (ESV)

Bonus Verse: I John 1:8-9

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (NIV)

WEEK FOUR

Memory Verse of the Week: Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. (ESV)
Bonus Verse: I John 5:11-13
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NIV)
