  • At Gateway, middle school and high school students attend the entire worship services with their families and the rest of our congregation.  While they won’t always connect with every part of a weekend worship service, the experience of getting comfortable being in a more grown up setting is helpful as students mature.  Also, our church appreciates the life and energy our young people bring to our worship services blesses our entire church body.

    • Wednesday Night Youth Group is a worship service for our middle school and high school students and meets most Wednesday Nights from September-May from 7-8:30 PM.  Games, singing, meeting other students, and understandable message from the Bible are a normal part of our weekly gatherings.
    • Small Groups for our students meet most Sunday evenings at the church from 6:30-8:30 PM from September-May.  Our student small groups typically are about 4-6 students of the same gender and grade levels and are led by trained volunteer adults.
    • Various Special Events & Camps: Throughout the year, we also offer a number of special events designed to add to a student's experience with Christ and with others here at Gateway. Events include: Winter Camp, Forget Finals Night, March Mania, ETV Summer Camp (High school students) or ETM Summer Camp (Middle school students), Summers in the Park, Fall Retreat, and many fun small group outings.

  • Grow Groups are small gatherings of about 6 to 15 people that meet in homes, generally on a weekly basis, to offer each other support and care. Our groups are led by leaders/shepherds whose desire is to help people experience the love and guidance of God within the context of these spiritual friendships. The leader looks to foster this when the entire group gathers together and within the natural connections of group friendships throughout the week.

When they gather, most groups spend the greater portion of their time in biblical discussion and prayer--seeking to apply the Bible to the important events in their lives. Some groups share a meal together, some include their children in a portion of their group time, and some explore ways of serving people outside their group. In other words, each group reflects the unique make-up and needs of the people in that group. The thing our groups most have in common is that Jesus is the center of group life.

Please contact Pastor Gary to get involved in a Grow Group.  360-835-2153 or gary@gatewayweb.org.

  • Men’s Teams meet for 4 to 16 weeks exploring topics and training in spiritual life skills. Groups meet at different locations, days and times in the community.  Groups encourage and build up men in specific men’s issues and needs.

We also have The Adventure Series during Washington’s sunnier months. The Adventure Series includes multiple activities that bring men together in the outdoors for camaraderie, faith, and fun.

  • We have a well stocked food pantry that is open Mon-Thurs during business hours. We also partner with local organizations such as Family Promise and Pathways Clinic.

  • We have four parking lots around the church, as well as street parking. When you arrive our parking team will do their best to help you quickly find a parking spot.

  • We have handicap parking and wheelchair access at our main entrance on the west side of the building. We also have an elevator that allows access to each level of the building.

All restrooms are handicap accessible and have changing tables for infants. There  are also restrooms in the Children's Center for young kids, and family bathrooms upstairs.

  • We provide loving child care for toddlers and preschoolers during the entirety of our worship services in the Children’s Center, which is located directly across the main lobby from our sanctuary. Children can be checked in upon arrival and picked up after the worship service. The Children’s Center also has a room just for moms and infants. Additionally we have the Cry Room on the second level of the building. This room provides families with young kids the ability to sit and participate in the service while keeping their children with them.

K-5th graders are invited to join the adults during the first segment of our worship services in which we sing together and participate in Scripture reading. After that they will be invited to Kid’s Church in the Student Worship Center, which is just up the stairs from the main lobby. New kids can be registered at our table in the back of the Student Worship Center at any time before Kid’s Church starts. Returning kids won’t need to register again. Kids are welcome to come right up to Kid’s Church when they are dismissed from the adult worship service. There will be members of the Kid’s Church team waiting at the back of the sanctuary to escort them up to Kid’s Church. Parents pick their kids up from Kid’s Church after the worship service.
